Melissa is a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant at Trade Assist, specialising in construction and civil recruitment. She began her career in event and staff management as well as operations, running large-scale events at some of New Zealand’s most iconic venues. She later stepped into leadership roles within the family tourism industry, where she further developed her skills in people management. This experience naturally led her to recruitment, allowing her to build a strong foundation across different industries before joining Trade Assist.

With a family deeply rooted in the building and construction sectors, Melissa has been surrounded by the industry her whole life. She understands the challenges, opportunities and nuances that come with it, giving her the ability to speak the language of her clients and candidates.
