Against the issuing body — not a photograph. ConstructSafe results are verified through the ConstructSafe database. Scaffold certificates are checked against NZQA. TC and STMS cards are verified through the TM Alliance. LBP licences are checked on the MBIE register. Expired or unverifiable = not placed.

Under HSWA 2015, Trade Assist and your business are co-PCBUs with a shared primary duty of care. Trade Assist handles ACC claims, incident investigation and WorkSafe NZ notification for notifiable events. Your site obligations: safe workplace, site induction and adequate supervision of placed workers.

ConstructSafe is New Zealand's national competency assessment system for construction and civil workers, administered by CHASNZ.
