Supporting Our Candidates Through BBQ Shouts (Auckland)

Christmas is just around the corner and we're feeling the buzz! There's plenty happening in Auckland and our staff are smashing it. Over the past few weeks, the Auckland team have been firing up the BBQs and connecting with our candidates and site crews across various locations. There's nothing better than surprising the workers with a BBQ shout to show appreciation for all the tremendous work they do. There have been many events so far, but just to name a couple, here are some highlights that are worth noting.

Site One: BBQ Breakfast for 200+ Workers
It's common for any of our team to organise a BBQ shout, but kickstarting the day at 5:30 am to feed bacon and egg breakfast to over 200 hardworking folks is definitely uncommon. These events are more than just good food and showcasing our BBQ skills. They're about building connections, maintaining the connections already built and showing appreciation to the candidates and their fellow site workers as well.

Site Two: BBQ Lunch for 150+ Workers
Some of these large-scale projects take a lot of energy and everyone loves a good sausage sizzle. The Auckland team was out on site once again to provide fuel to the construction crew. The feedback from everyone enjoying their lunch encouraged the team to be more proactive and pumped up for the next event. Something simple as offering a sausage sizzle can help our candidates feel supported, valued and part of the team.
