As summer approaches, Heinz Wattie's Christchurch factory is buzzing with activity in preparation for another busy peak season. This year, Hannah, our manufacturing superstar returned for her 8th season. She led the summer season induction, ensuring our new and returning team members felt supported, informed, and ready to contribute to a successful season.

The induction was an inspiring start, with many familiar faces returning and bringing friends to join the team.

• Registering team members with the latest facial recognition sign-in/sign-out app.

• Understanding static and rotating rosters for the season.

• Comprehensive training on health and safety across the premises and inside the factory.

• Clear guidance on emergency protocols, including actions to take in case of incidents or accidents.

• Sizing and fitting PPE (personal protective equipment) to ensure safety and comfort.

• Setting up individuals in our payroll system and walking through the payroll app.
