Real Journeys from Temp to Perm

From day one to the long hauls. Congratulations, everyone!

At Trade Assist, we’re all about backing our people and helping them take the next step, whether that’s a foot in the door or a full-time placement. Over the past few weeks, we’ve had a few big wins worth celebrating. Several of our candidates have made the move from temporary roles into permanent positions and we couldn’t be prouder.

First up, a massive shoutout to Dylan, Nathan, Gloria and Samantha from our Christchurch Warehousing & Logistics team. These legends have each made the leap from temp to perm, a true reflection of their hard mahi, positive attitude and willingness to give things a go. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. And of course, it wouldn’t have happened without the tireless efforts of Deb and Dan, who consistently go above and beyond to support their candidates and set them up for long-term success.To wrap up the month of June, we also celebrated three more well-earned temp-to-perm transitions, this time for Vimal, Bridget and Peteru. Watching them move into permanent roles is what we call a full-circle moment. It’s a real motivator for the team, a reminder that investing time and care into each candidate pays off. Big thanks to Mike, Deb and Daniel for their commitment throughout the journey from the very first conversation to placement and beyond, our dedication to ongoing care.

These milestones mean more than just a job title change. They reflect the trust our clients place in us, the drive of our candidates and the genuine effort our team puts into making meaningful career connections. While we may not always get the chance to snap a photo or share every temp-to-perm moment, every single one matters.
