1. The promotion

1. The promoter is [Trade Assist legal entity name], [registered address], New Zealand ("Trade Assist", "we", "us").

2. The promotion is the Trade Assist Tradie Giveaway (the "Promotion"), run on Trade Assist's Facebook and Instagram pages.

3. Entries open at 1:00 PM on Monday 2 November 2026 and close at 11:59 PM on Sunday 15 November 2026 (NZT) (the "Promotional Period"). Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

4. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Who can enter

1. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

2. Employees, officers, directors and contractors of Trade Assist or its associated companies, their immediate families, and anyone else involved in running the Promotion are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family" means a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child or sibling. Trade Assist temps and candidates are welcome to enter.

3. Entry is free. No purchase, sign-up or form is required.

3. How to enter

1. To enter, comment on the Promotion post on Trade Assist's Facebook or Instagram page and tag (mention) at least one friend.

2. Each comment that tags a different friend counts as one entry. You can enter as many times as you like during the Promotional Period.

3. Entrants who follow Trade Assist on the platform they entered on when the draw takes place will have their entries doubled (each valid entry counted twice).

4. Entries must come from a genuine personal account. Entries from fake, duplicate or automated accounts, or entries that tag fake or business accounts, will be excluded.

5. Comments that are offensive, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate will be removed and excluded, at Trade Assist's sole discretion.

4. Prize and draw

1. There is one prize and one winner across both Facebook and Instagram. The prize is 12 cans of Monster Energy Ultra White (sugar-free) and a $50 BP gift card.

2. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The gift card is subject to the issuer's own terms and expiry. Any attempt to sell or trade the prize will result in it being cancelled.

3. If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, Trade Assist may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

4. The Promotion is a game of chance. One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Monday 16 November 2026 at Trade Assist's [branch] office.

5. The winner will be announced in the comments of the Promotion post on Monday 16 November 2026 and contacted by direct message from the official Trade Assist account within 2 business days of the draw.

6. The winner must reply within 7 days of being contacted to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed in time, Trade Assist may redraw.

7. The prize will be delivered to the winner or made available for collection from their nearest Trade Assist branch (Auckland, Wellington, Hawke's Bay or Christchurch).

5. General conditions

1. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta. By entering, you release Meta from any liability relating to the Promotion.

2. Monster Energy and BP are not sponsors of, or associated with, this Promotion.

3. Trade Assist will NEVER ask you to sign up, complete a form, click a link, or provide payment or bank details to enter or claim the prize. Any account asking for this is not us. Please report it.

4. Personal information collected through the Promotion will only be used to run the Promotion and contact the winner, in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and Trade Assist's privacy policy: [link].

5. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Trade Assist may publish their first name, town or city and photo on its social media channels.

6. Trade Assist may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these terms.

7. Trade Assist may change, suspend or cancel the Promotion if something outside its reasonable control affects how it runs, such as technical faults, fraud or platform changes.

8. To the extent permitted by law, Trade Assist is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the Promotion or the prize, including how the prize is used or consumed. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

9. Trade Assist's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final, and no correspondence will be entered into about the result.
